Our focus: Enterprise from day one
SoftVaro was set up from the start as a fully-fledged Enterprise organisation. With years of experience in the Tier 1 software landscape and with the support of our investors, one principle was central: governance, compliance and operational maturity must be in order from day one.
This approach was immediately tested in practice. Within one month our first Enterprise client was successfully onboarded, a process demanding high standards of governance, compliance and operational execution.
Today SoftVaro works with a specialised team solely focused on Tier 2 and 3 software procurement for Enterprise organisations. Permanent and external employees and long-term specialists operating as one team. Why the name SoftVaro?
SoftVaro is derived from Esperanto, an international language designed to connect people worldwide. That idea fits perfectly with our mission: making software accessible that would otherwise be overlooked, hidden in the tail spend of enterprise organisations.
In Esperanto, SoftVaro literally means ‘Software product’: composed of softa (soft) and varo (item/product). A recognizable, logical construction in a language known for simplicity, clarity and connection. Those same characteristics are central to how we work.
