Our focus: Enterprise from day one

SoftVaro was set up from the start as a fully-fledged Enterprise organisation. With years of experience in the Tier 1 software landscape and with the support of our investors, one principle was central: governance, compliance and operational maturity must be in order from day one.

This approach was immediately tested in practice. Within one month our first Enterprise client was successfully onboarded, a process demanding high standards of governance, compliance and operational execution.

Today SoftVaro works with a specialised team solely focused on Tier 2 and 3 software procurement for Enterprise organisations. Permanent and external employees and long-term specialists operating as one team. The focus is at the front-end: client relationship, alignment with the business and translating needs into concrete license and contract solutions.

Why the name SoftVaro?

SoftVaro is derived from Esperanto, an international language designed to connect people worldwide. That idea fits perfectly with our mission: making software accessible that would otherwise be overlooked, hidden in the tail spend of enterprise organisations.

In Esperanto, SoftVaro literally means ‘Software product’: composed of softa (soft) and varo (item/product). A recognizable, logical construction in a language known for simplicity, clarity and connection. Those same characteristics are central to how we work.
